Little Man

So here's the scoop on the little man.  The hubs and I found out early this year we were expecting a baby!  Everyone always asks how you feel when you are pregnant and I tend to be pretty honest with them.  This whole pregnancy thing is not quiet what I thought it would be like.  There have been a few bumps, some crater size along the way.  Right around 12 weeks I had something called a subchorionic hemorrhage, aka I had a lot of bleeding.  I was told after going two weeks I would be in the clear, but that was not the case.  Three weeks came and went and then bam, another bleed.   I ended up having 5 different episodes of bleeding all together.   I was on pins and needs for the entire second trimester!  There were many late nights of looking at many different blogs reading about other women going through the same thing as me.  It is agonizing!  Thankfully little man stayed healthy through all of it and the bleed has now been reabsorbed by my body.  Reading all of the stories of those women and finding out their babies turned out just fine was what got me through I think.  Now I just have to make it through these last few weeks.  Everything is almost ready for him.  In fact, I just dropped off little man's quilt to be quilted today.  My quilter promised me she would put my quilt next one to go on the machine.  I can't wait to see it finished!  Hopefully I'm not sewing the binding on in the delivery room.
